I tried resetting the CMOS, no dice. That may not fix anything, but somethings the CMOS becomes corrupted when you have a hard crash, and won't let your computer restart. You should never be seeing temperatures around 80C. Exact same thing happened to me with the XPS 710.

There are many good companies building pre-built machines if that is easier. Or perhaps did the CPU died?? Generally, I don't find most of the Egg's or Tigerdirect's sale prices all that great. As is the fact that the machine will not turn on again immediately —it needs to cool down first.
