September 8, 2010 Andrew Smyth I have had my dell for almost 1.5 years and just before my year warranty ran out my computer stopped working…the power led started flashing yellow…and I suspect it was the power supply failure. The system is a Used MDG with a 1.5GHZ cpu, and mostly all stock parts. July 11, 2010 Brown 435t i get the run around from dell about upgrading my processor to an i7 950, 960 and how these will effect my psu. If the fan doesn't move, you have a dead power supply. It just continues to start itself over. Try booting to safe mode by tapping the F8 key.

Since the motherboard kicks in power to the CMOS even before BIOS POST, there's no way to get a reading from it when the system has power.

I have a button on the backside witch sais CMOS, and it was pulsating with a blue light. this contact form It runs 365 X 24.
