Local Only - No Internet Please Help


Vista showed the connection as "Local access only". ipconfig command displays an ip for public vice private net. u the man! Something in Zonealarm changed and was not allowing the internet traffic. his comment is here

I tried assigning static IPs but still no go. I'm not sure exactly why that change makes the difference. If that does not work then I'm afraid the only solution I have found, after spending many hours on such a problem, is to re-load the operating system.
