I am using ipv4 and even tried "unchecking" ipv6 just to be sure. It's also having issues with random dump of the ethernet driver requiring a re-install. You need to know your computer model and whether your Windows Vista is 32- or 64-bit to obtain the proper driver (right-click on "Computer" to find that out). Can't connect to the internet- local access only! No solution available. It basically involves Vista getting confused at which network adapter has a connection when it does a DNS probe on the adapters. You could probably manually set a static IP with the correct info from the iPad, but changing the IP address.
