Guess I am returning this for a refund. obviously there is a design flaw. This feels like they should recall this laptop and refund customers? BTW as I type this, the ghost touch started.
I am calling dell about this issue now. The ghost touches would go away after some time. Iflexed the screen by hand and the ghost touch immediately went away! It then prompted me to clear all the cells (all 405 of them) after which the touch screen worked without incident for several hours.
The screen back should have been made of inflexible aluminium to reduce this issue. Imagine the anticipation of opening the laptop and switching on........
